The Approach

Webflow renders CMS data into the DOM via its native collection lists. From there, a small script reads the rendered values and feeds them into a chart library as a dataset. No backend or API layer needed.

Performance Considerations

Keep your chart library as small as possible. Chart.js is under 60kb gzipped and covers most use cases.

• Use Chart.js for bar, line, doughnut, and radar charts
• Use ApexCharts if you need real-time data or advanced interactivity
• Always lazy-load chart scripts to avoid blocking page render
